One of this year's most wanted and expected fashion collaborations was officially released on November 3rd.

The collaboration of Balenciaga x Adidas was available for pre-order back in May. The collection itself is a 33-piece capsule collection that includes famous replica football shirts, three-stripes printed tracksuits and pants and finally, collaborative iterations of Balenciaga's one of the most famous sneakers like the Triple S.

Adidas x Balenciaga is said to have been planned and created by creative director Demna. Speaking of the collaboration, he said: "I always wanted to use three stripes and the logo, to be very honest with you. As a seven-year-old kid, I had an Adidas tracksuit, and that was my biggest fashion moment when I was a child."

During the past few years, Adidas has made a big push into the high fashion industry, teaming with extremely popular brands like Prada and Gucci. Balenciaga is the latest luxury collaboration from the Three Stripes.

While at first glance reminiscent of classic Adidas staples, the cut of tracksuits, tees, hoodies and more is similar to Balenciaga's mainline. Denim separates, the oversized MA-1 and the handbag collection lean more in that direction, while accessories - such as water bottles and dad hats - delve into Three Stripes expertise instead. However, when it comes to shoes, classic Balenciaga styles take the helm with a little drop of Adidas. In addition to the classic Triple S and Sock Runner, the duo also made stilettos and track pant-heel hybrids.
