A Celebration of Craftmanship: International Fine Craft & Creation Biennal 2025
Révélations, the International Fine Craft & Creation Biennal organized by Ateliers d’Art de France, will return for its 7th edition from May 21 to 25, 2025, in the iconic, newly restored Grand Palais.
This unmissable event, a true tribute to craftsmanship and creation, will bring together 550 creators from 35 countries this year. Come and celebrate the vitality and diversity of fine crafts within the transparent scenography designed by Adrien Gardère. Something new for this edition: creators will also take over the walkways of the Grand Palais for a spectacular showcase.
Italy will be honoured through the works of 22 creators. From Carrara marble to Murano glass and Florence’s renowned stones, Italy—home to millennia-old craftsmanship—will showcase exceptional artisans who redefine marble and glass.
This edition also strengthens its international presence with new participants making their debut at the Biennale, unveiling their work at Le Banquet, Révélations’ signature grand exhibition. For the first time, visitors will discover fine craft traditions from Bangladesh, Malaysia, Georgia, and the Philippines, alongside other regions of the world, including Ibero-America (Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru), Brazil, South Korea, Greece, Italy, Ireland, the French overseas territories (Polynesia and the French Caribbean), and Quebec.
Italy in the Spotlight
After Quebec, Africa, and Luxembourg, this edition will spotlight Italy. Each edition of Révélations highlights contemporary creations from a different region of the world. Next May, the diversity of Italy's exceptional craftsmanship will be showcased through a selection of creators.
Italy has territorial identities built around world-renowned materials, and the country boasts numerous fine craft sectors as diverse as its regions. Each region has its own unique specialities and techniques, reflecting its rich history and cultural heritage. From Carrara marble to Murano glass, from the craftsmanship of Florence's semi-precious stones to Como silk and Naples coral, Italy has been the cradle of exceptional artisanal craftsmanship for millennia, attracting numerous architects, designers, collectors, and luxury houses.
