Meet the Ultimate Luxury Suite at the St. Regis in Aspen
The Snow Lodge Suite is a luxurious haven within the magnificent St. Regis Resort in Aspen, Colorado. The natural grandeur of the Rocky Mountains makes it a favorite western U.S. destination for lovers of winter sports. The Snow Lodge, created by Brazilian-born Jayma Cardoso, is the sister property to The Surf Lodge, her hip summer resort in the exclusive enclave known as the Hamptons, at the tip of Long Island, New York
The Snow Lodge has become known for its eclectic music scene, with new lineups each month of the season. Music takes place in the Jade Room or the Après Ski Courtyard.
The St. Regis Aspen also offers the ultimate presidential suite. Aptly named “The Snow Lodge Suite”, this luxurious apartment of more than 218 square meters offers exceptional elegance and comfort in a penthouse setting. Jayma Cardoso has partnered with architect and designer Antonio Di Oronzo of BLUARCH to create an exquisite and timeless space. Antonio has designed many properties across the world and used the mountains of Colorado as an inspiration for the ultimate luxury suite.
Carefully planned architectural and design details abound. Most of the furniture and all the fabrics are from Italy, and curated design objects are sourced from European boutiques, talented artisans, and famous purveyors of luxury items, such as Hermès and Baccarat. Ms. Cardoso explains, “We partner with brands that share our core values. Beyond luxury, we pursue high design and high relevance.” The suite includes living, dining, and sleeping areas, as well as a fully stocked kitchen and storage space for winter gear.
The Snow Lodge Suite also offers a rare opportunity for an intimate experience with significant twentiethand twenty-first-century art. The highly regarded galleries and art advisors Aktion Art (Aspen and Miami, Florida) and Wynn Fine Art (Las Vegas, Nevada) have provided a curated selection of fine art from such luminaries as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Ed Ruscha, and others, as well as emerging artists. When asked about her favorite artist, Ms. Cardoso explained, “I’m drawn to artists who have a compelling language and a fresh, formal aptitude. As a result, the artists we exhibit vary in period and provenance while consistently speaking to my desire for depth and relevance.”
